The Invisible Canyon
If you're like me, you think you've seen the Fraser Canyon. I have driven the highway 1 from Hope to Lillooet, and I love that land. But that is only part, and perhaps not the most beautiful part, of the windy path of the mighty Fraser.
The another, more spectacular stretch of the river does not have a highway, or even a paved road through it, which is perhaps why many, are completely unaware of its existence. If you travel north of Pavillion BC along the Dog Creek Road, you will find yourself in a vast, deep canyon, along the bottom of which twists the Fraser.
